Taqueria Mi Familia - Authentic Mexican Seafood in Sacramento, CA

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY THE COVER. Me n my girls are pretty, young and tourists, so when we pulled into the parking lot, we honestly reconsidered. After a few minutes, we realized we were being too harsh about the outside appearance and went in to get some food! The restaurant was clean and put together, but also empty. The lady who took our order was so sweet and kind, she gave us recommendations and told us the stuff she liked. After we got our food we were sooooo glad we stayed. Everything came out fast and was cooked to perfection! I got four chorizo street tacos and my friends both got their quesabirria. So so yummy. Give this place a chance forreeallll.

The women that owns this taqueria is one of the nicest women I’ve come across in customer service. She is so kind, and the food is always amazing. My husband and I have both tried several things from the menu and we have loved every single one. One of our favorite is their chile verde breakfast burrito. Not a lot of places make this and even if they did I don’t think it would live up to this one. Don’t listen to any negative reviews, we come here at least once a week!

Such a wonderful place! The food was very good - fresh and flavorful. Was so, so excited to see enchiladas en suizas on the menu, and then chorizo for the protein! The service was amazing, and the prices were good. My only issue was that the music was a notch or two louder than I prefer, but I understand why. The space is large. It's not a deal breaker, though, when the food is so so good.

Nice a good cozy atmosphere, we ordered a soup with a beef , omg the broth was rich and delicious, like home cooking, and the meat on the bone was perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the casadia with tongue; the dough was delicious, the crust crispy, and the tongue tender. If you're near this area, be sure to stop in for lunch.

Delicious and authentic flavors, Friendly service. We tried the tacos al pastor and the enchiladas michoacanas. Both were 10/10. We will be back to try more.

This is a great restaurant. The staff are kind and welcoming. It is a very authentic and delicious food. El Pastor and the shrimp fajitas are amazing. Try this place and you will love it.

This is my most favorite Mexican restaurant ever! I have tried the shrimp fajitas many places but MI Familia is the best! Nicely spiced, good portion of shrimp, and a good balance of onions, tomatoes and red peppers all perfectly cooked. Try also the El Pastor! You can't go wrong with anything you order from this family-owned, welcoming, and clean restaurant.

Heard about this place but didnt check this place out til now an heard also were celebrating their one year anniversary of opening so it was perfect timing. Friendly staff an service. So much in menu to choose from. Its nice to support a starting business happy it made it this far hope to see this restaurant succeed too. While there was interesting to see for their Anniversary they had a karaoke speaking there which if you choose to sing were welcome with cheers an a sing-along. Or just enjoy the meal. You can order take out or doordash if prefer. This day I visit on their Anniversary the resturant was suppose to close at 8pm but with customers coming in an friends of owners coming to celebrate their Anniversary the owners were kind to keep the restaurant open even though it was suppose to close at a certain time but since the karaoke was in full swing an all enjoying themselves to celebrate their anniversary it was nice to have stayed an enjoy the celebration. Do be aware this building is older so going to the bathroom can during summer be abit hot cause its a ling hallway but restroom was clean. Go visit this place an try their tasty meals.
